Step 1: Register yourself at Flanders Foal Auction
Click on this link to register an account.
Fill in your email address, choose a password and accept the Auction Terms. Then activate your account by clicking on the link which is send to your email address.
Your registration is almost complete now. In order to finalize your registration, please fill in the details that are asked after clicking on the link which is send to your email address. Click on “Save” when all fields are filled in.
Step 2: Wait until you are verified by Flanders Foal Auction
Log in and go to My Account. Here you can see whether or not your account has been accepted by Flanders Foal Auction. This can take up to X days. You will receive an email notification once this has been approved.
Step 3: Bid online at the auction
On auction day you can login to the website. Once you are logged in, you can use the "Live Auction"-button which will open two hours before the auction starts. We advise you to login in-time and prior to the start of the auction.
For an optimal experience we advise you to use the Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge webbrowser. You can download them for free through the links. Furthermore we recommend bidders to use a stable internet connection (WiFi or Cable). If you do not have a strong internet connection you will risk your bids being delayed by slow connections.
On auction day, login with username & password and click on one of the “Go to live auction”-buttons. Once logged in, you will automatically be forwarded to the Bidscreen where you can follow the auction LIVE and bid online.
Before you can bid, you must first activate the bid button by tagging the checkbox. This is done in order to exclude accidental bidding. After activating the bid button, you will bid in the auction by a single click on the bid button. No confirmation of your bid will be requested. During the auction you should be reachable on the provided phone number.
The Bidscreen will indicate whether your bid has been accepted and whether you are the highest bidder. A bid placed at the Flanders Foal Auction is unconditional, irrevocable and without any reservation.
Step 4: You are the highest bidder
If you are the highest bidder, you will receive an email with confirmation. You will be contacted after the auction. The purchase agreement only comes into effect by the seller's award. The seller is entitled to award the horse or not.
