When you buy an embryo

What are the most important things to know about participating in a Flanders Embryo Auction? You can read it here...

What to expect when you buy an embryo from us?
- All embryos are implanted in recipient mares.
- The deposit for the recipient mare is 2,500 euros. This will be refunded after the mare returns to the seller's place in a good condition and including the original passport, before the end of 2027.
- When buying an embryo in Dublin: We arrange free transport of surrogate mares to Ireland.

Can insurance be arranged?
Embryo insurance can be arranged at the night of the auction.

Is it possible to arrange the foal delivery?
Yes, foals can be born and raised in Belgium at LVP Stables, in Ireland at Boleybawn Horse Farm (Ronan Rothwell) or any other place of your choice.

Who will be the official breeder?
- The buyer will be the breeder
- All foals can be registered in any studbook
