Flanders references deliver consistent results in October

In October, several horses sold through the Flanders Foal & Embryo Auction were active at international shows across Europe, achieving consistent results at levels up to 1.50m. Below is an overview of their performances throughout the month.

Early in the month, Riesenbeck (GER) delivered two strong results: Unique (2019, Untouchable) won the 1.30m class with Philipp Weishaupt, while Cosinus LVP Z (2017, Corico Z) finished third in the 1.40m class under Rolf-Göran Bengtsson. In Thessaloniki (GRE), Diamant (2017, Diamant de Semilly) and Ilara Zenobi placed ninth in the 1.45m competition.

At the tour in Oliva (ESP), Nibali (2018, Casallo Z) recorded two victories at 1.35m and 1.40m with Mariano Martinez Bastida, while Actionbreak (2017, Action-Breaker) finished fourth in the 1.30m class with Cyril Cools. Meanwhile, in Oslo (NOR), Storm’s Odeveld (2018, Cornet Obolensky) and Karianne Christoffersen competed in the 1.40m, finishing 16th.

Also in Spain, this time at Vejer de la Frontera, Otis la Vida Z (2018, Ogano Sitte) placed eighth at 1.35m with Diana Piera Salamero, and Chess vd Berghoeve Z (2017, Cornet Obolensky) was 12th in a 1.45m class with Tom Schewe. In Kronenberg (NED), Kameroen EB Z (2014, Kannan) finished 12th at 1.45m with Leonie Peeters.

A win was also noted in Samorin (SVK): The One van Heiske (2019, Conte Bellini) and Patryk Skrzyczynski topped the 1.25m class. In Leeuwarden (NED), Naf Naf DMC (2013, Thunder van de Zuuthoeve) placed eighth in the 1.50m with Kendra Claricia Brinkop.

Towards the end of the month, Fireball van Overis (2015, Flying Dream) finished sixth in a 1.45m class in Valencia (ESP) under Maisy Williams, and Georgia Z (2016, George Z) concluded October with a second-place finish in the 1.35m at Lyon (FRA), ridden by Jean Xhemal.

Ook in oktober waren diverse paarden die via de Flanders Foal & Embryo Auction zijn verkocht actief op internationale concoursen in heel Europa, met consistente resultaten tot en met 1.50m niveau. Hieronder een overzicht van hun prestaties gedurende de maand.

Begin oktober liet Riesenbeck (Duitsland) twee sterke resultaten zien: Unique (2019, Untouchable) won de 1,30m-klasse met Philipp Weishaupt, terwijl Cosinus LVP Z (2017, Corico Z) derde werd in de 1.40m-klasse onder Rolf-Göran Bengtsson.
