Flanders Foal Auction presents embryo out of full sister Cornet Obolensky

Flanders Foal Auction is preparing for the 'grand final' on Thursday evening 13 September at Sentower Park in Opglabbeek. After the embryo auctions in Sharjah (UAE) and Ocala (USA) and the foal auctions in Bolesworth (GBR) and Bonheiden (BEL), Luk Van Puymbroeck and Gerald Lenaerts have found something special for the last FFA auction of 2018. It is an embryo sired by For Pleasure out of the full sister of Cornet Obolensky, two Olympic stallions who belongs to the best showjumping progenitors ever.

"This mare was almost infertile. She gave a few young horses who are now in sport, but she was no longer in foal. Thanks to the ICSI method, she will now becomes a mom once again and it remains to be seen whether she will become pregnant again. We are proud to auction the embryo that will be born in April", the auction organizers say.

Beautiful foals
Flanders Foal Auction makes name worldwide as a transparent auction organization with high quality jumping foals out of the best performance damlines from Belgium and abroad. Just a great pedigree is not enough nowadays, the foals are also critically selected for their type, conformation and canter. "We have been able to continue this tendency in our selection for Opglabbeek," says Van Puymbroeck.

The catalog contains 39 foals and one embryo. Among the sires are the famous Big Star, Casall, Darco, Diamant de Semilly, Cornet Obolensky, For Pleasure, Kanann, Levisto Z and Quabri de L'Isle.
